Well this is the end of week 1 in our house. We've managed to get some stuff done, but not too much since Lisa's back pain has had her mostly couch ridden with all the medicine she's on. Wesley has kept Lisa in very good company, lounging on the couch with her. David worked on getting most of the Den put together and getting all of our computers working.
We moved today!!! With a lot of help from a bunch of friends we packed up the apartment in just under 3 hours. Not bad if you ask us. We had pizza and other munchies to keep the workers going. Once we got to the house we had even more people show up to help us unpack and it took us less than an hour to unpack the truck. We even had beds made in that time with all of the help we had. Thanks to everyone that helped, we couldn't have done it without you and we mean that. Lisa had a muscle spasm in her back and hasn't been able to do much, other than direct people on where to put boxes and stuff. David's back is still bugging him so he can't lift all the stuff by himself so we really do appreciate everyone's help. Now comes the chore of unpacking everything and figuring out where to put it. Before the day ended we had the first addition to the Taylor family! Wesley (aka The Dread Pirate Roberts) was David's college houses cat. Wes has been living with Josh since we graduated from Calvin. Josh had to find a new home for Wes and we couldn't think of a better place. Moving pictures and pictures of Wesley will be up soon. (We promise)
Now starts the work of home ownership. We started bringing boxes over to the house as well as some tools. We painted the living room as well, we wanted to get this done before we moved all of our furniture over so that we have less to worry about. We'll have some pictures to post soon. Our House!
