Lisa's parents came out to visit us for a week this June! David was still on short-term disability from work, so he was able to be at home with them all day! Of course, he probably wasn't resting as much as he could/should have, but we were able to get a lot of work done on our house!! First of all, we (well, let's be honest, David and dad) made some major renovations to our upstairs bathroom. It used to have no storage-at all. No medicine cabinet, no closet, no countertop... so, we added in a nice new sink unit with lots of storage room underneath and countertop room on top! Plus we added a tri-mirror medicine cabinet with lots of space, plus another unit above the toilet to store things in. I should mention that it gives more storage room for Lisa and ALL OF HER STUFF! Check it out! Also, when they drove out they brought with them about 40 plants from their garden at home! Dad and Lisa (and David, doing what he could) planted all those plants. We have a lily garden with 24 types of lilies growing in it! They also brought several other types of flowers, We can't wait to see them in bloom!!! Check it out!
