David, Lisa, Kayla, Isaac & Annika

The circus came to Grand Rapids and we decided last minute to go. Before the show they allowed us on stage to see the clowns and try on costumes and walk on a balance beam. Kayla at first was scared of the clown and I was afraid we were in for a long night! But she quickly warmed up to him and then couldn't get enough of the clowns!

When the show started we were all mesmerized and had a wonderful time! The acrobatics was amazing and was my favorite part. Kayla's favorite parts were the clown and the elephants. She did not like the tigers part of it, I think she was scared. But otherwise, she really enjoyed it! Isaac sat calmly in my lap for most of the show. He took a nap for about 30 minutes in the middle, probably because there was so much going on he was over stimulated! But the cannons woke him right up and he was quietly watching it again!

We had a blast there and Kayla still talks about how much fun she had at the circus! We are very glad we went.
