Our Little Punkin' Pumpkins
We had fun celebrating Halloween this year! Kayla has been looking forward to it for awhile. She remembers trick-or-treating at daddy's office and in our neighborhood last year and couldn't wait!!
She got to wear her costume hat to preschool and also at my mom's Bible Study. Then on Friday we went to David's office for crafts and then a trick-or-treating parade!
Then on Saturday we (David mostly) carved pumpkins. Kayla was so excited to do this and got to pick them out herself and help daddy choose what to carve. She, however, did NOT want to touch the insides of the pumpkin!
Then on Halloween we went trick-or-treating in our neighborhood. We had our own little pumpkin patch!! :) Kayla loved running from house to house. There was also a trunk-or-treat at a church in our neighborhood that David and Kayla went to while Isaac and I stayed home in warmth (it was a cool night!). She was out for a little more than an hour before she was too cold and too tired to do anymore!
One of my favorite parts of the evening was after we got home. We dumped all of her candy out and sorted it and she had so much fun doing it! We probably sorted and resorted 3 or 4 times that night alone! Isaac got interested in it too. At first Kayla thought it was fun, until he grabbed at one. This series of pictures below is priceless!
